We can't design the right solution if we don't understand what you want to be able to do. Making sure that we deliver what you actually need is part of the Managed Networks difference. Even in the sectors where we already have lots of clients and experience, there'll always be something specific to your business, so we start every engagement by finding out what makes you tick.
We'll talk to as many people in your business as you'll allow, to find out what they do now – and what they'd like to be able to do. We'll also make contact with your other suppliers, especially for your key line-of-business applications, not only to work out what's involved in hosting and supporting those applications, but also to start building the relationship with the vendor.
We'll survey your existing network and systems thoroughly so that we can plan properly and to make sure we've not missed any of the software your people need to do their jobs; this survey also lets us value your existing kit if we're taking it on as part of the transition.
We will help you focus on describing the capabilities you need and discuss with you the best potential IT solution based on what is possible, what’s affordable and what is best practice in your sector. Once agreed we will take responsibility for implementing the right technology to meet your needs.
We set this out in a clear statement of capability, so you know what you'll be getting, and a straightforward price per user, so you know how much it will cost. We help you compare this cost to other options, and help you explain our offering to your stakeholders.
After the capability and the numbers have been agreed, we move into planning and execution. You'll have a dedicated project manager throughout the transition to Managed Networks, and a clear picture of the stages involved. The most important thing to know is that from the moment you sign up with us, we take responsibility for your current infrastructure and will do everything we can to keep it running well while we're migrating you to our systems.
You'll also have a dedicated account manager, who will be your main point of contact for the whole of your time with us. Your account manager will report to you on the progress of the migration and on the performance of the solution once it's in place. He or she is always available to you if you have questions or concerns. During the migration the account and project managers will work together to make sure that the most pressing issues with your existing infrastructure are dealt with first, and to help you manage the change and keep your users informed and supported.
